Hojicha, meaning “roasted tea” in Japanese, is a traditional tea made from late-harvest, roasted green tea leaves. Our organic version is made from upcycled Sencha leaves and stems harvested from Kagoshima and Shizuoka, Japan. Finely ground into a powder, it whisks effortlessly into a delicious latte or rich brew with notes of toasted nuts, caramel and malt. warning: highly delicious + addictive in the best possible way.
this is my 2nd order of hojicha and while i was at it, scooped up a 2nd mug. i cannot say enough about how amazing this tea is. i do not drink coffee and generally will drink matcha in the morning when i need a boost. but i miss coffee. now, i have hojicha, simply prepared with some almond milk, water and local honey served as my afternoon treat. i was worried it might keep me awake at night even with a little caffeine but its no problem. and i love the powerful antioxidant properties when i drink it, hoping it will aid in my oral health. buy this and drink it daily served in your favorite, special mug. its amazing and my new favorite ritual. i'm already on to the giant bag. i can never be without it now (seriously). the best!

Two excellent products.
