Instructions

Apply an oil or moisturizer to your face prior to using the laser to help it glide smoothly and effortlessly. It is easiest to do one side of your face first, and then the other. Starting under your ears, sweep the LYMA laser along the jaw bone towards the center of your chin, gliding it slowly across your skin. Repeat each forward and backward movement about 5 times. Gradually work your way up one side of your face, repeating each sweep slowly, working your way up your face towards your eye. There is no need to apply pressure, just make sure the laser is touching your skin at all times. Then sweep the laser across the skin above your eye. Repeat on the other side of your face. Alternatively you can hold the laser over one area of your skin for 3 minutes daily. Here is a video demonstration from LYMA.

    Fantastic!

    Loving my Lyma

    Loving my Lyma. It's the best investment I made for my skin. I still use it almost daily while watching a movie or my favourite show, even after my initial 12 weeks as I love the results I have achieved with using it diligently. My skin looks so clear, rejuvenated and glowing. I have recommended this device to all my girlfriends as it is certainly worth every penny!

    Jury is still out…

    I’m at the 3 month mark, and while I haven’t given up, I haven’t seen any improvement in any of the issues touted (fine lines, pigmentation, sun damage). In fact, a small patch of rosacea has gotten worse.

    The manufacturer recommends “keep trying” to those with similar (non) results. I’d love to read other reviews from women in my age bracket.

    A constant in my routine

    I'm almost done with my first 90 days of daily use (end of this month will mark 3 months of daily use and transition into maintenance mode, just in time for the arrival of my twin boys!).

    One of the biggest surprises has been how easy it has been to incorporate it into my evening routine. It feels meditative sweeping it across my face and it plays just as nicely with my Living Libations Best Skin Ever as it does with Le Prunier. When I remember, I will put a little Barrier Restore Serum on afterwards, but it doesn't always feel necessary with how emollient my skin is from the extra oil I use to give the laser slip.

    A constant in my evening routine since incorporating Lyma has always been a very generous misting with the serotoner prior to applying Living Libations or Le Prunier.

    Even shy of the 3 month mark, my skin behaves differently. It seems much more resilient, with any irritation or blemish clearing quickly. It is SO SMOOTH and it takes less than 5 minutes to apply light makeup in the morning. I have pregnancy-related hyperpigmentation on my forehead, and I feel that using the laser has kept this at bay (I'm even more excited to see the effects post-delivery).

    I purchased this device to simplify my entire routine (inclusive of derm visits) because as a soon to be mom of three, I can't justify the injectables anymore. I love the holistic approach of this device and definitely feel its effects on my skin's tone and texture (perhaps even sculpting, especially under…
